Hello, I received my Master's in Elementary Education in 2009. I have been substitute teaching in the Nazareth Area School District for the past 11 years. My primary focus has been at the elementary level, K-6. I do have my middle school certification in history. I have worked with students in small groups and one on one. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
