Lehigh University M.Ed. (Enrolled)
To Whom It May Concern:
I am currently a special education teacher in the Pocono Mountain School District. I graduated from Bloomsburg University with my degree in Elementary (K-6) and Special Education (n-12). I am also qualified to teach middle level language arts (7-9), middle level science (7-9) and middle level mathematics (7-9). I am highly qualified in social studies as well due to the HOUSSE process.
While at Bloomsburg, my field hockey team and I won four NCAA championships. Therefore, teamwork, goal setting and belief in ones’ abilities are very important principles in my life. I strive to help my students feel success in the classroom in a similar manner. Currently, I am a graduate student at Lehigh University where I am earning my Master’s degree in Elementary School Counseling. It is my desire to teach and counsel students who will benefit from a positive role model and an energetic personality.
I have experience working with students from 2nd to 12th grade in both regular and special education settings. The students whom I am currently working with have emotional, behavioral and social concerns and are on varying academic levels with a wide range of disabilities.
With this letter, I would like to express my interest of employment with your son or daughter. I am a dedicated teacher, who is flexible and ready to make learning fun for your child! Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this opportunity! I am excited to hear from you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
