Let's start with an honest statement: Mathematics is not an easy subject to learn! It's fun, well for nerds like me, but it's hard. I'm going to graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics this April of 2016 and my experience in tutoring goes beyond 3 years. I started tutoring Math in college, just for the love of the subject and landed my first ever job in college. Then, during this past summer of 2015, I had the pleasure of working with High School students who were struggling in Math and I made them fall in love with the subject that they hated and had nightmares about. Tutoring is a job that I love because I love teaching!
Does seeing an equation intimidate you? Well, say no more! That's what I'm here for. Winning the award of "Best Math Tutor in UPG" for 2 years in a row, should give you the confident that you will like Math, no matter what level of the subject you are at in the range from Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations and all the way up to Complex Analysis.
We can be best friends in Math and during our break we can go pet cats and eat Ice-cream. If you're ready to learn math, this will be your first step! Let's start with an honest statement: Mathematics is not an easy subject to learn! It's fun, well for nerds like me, but it's hard. Lessons must be at least two hours. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Khondaker helped me with trigonometry, geometry, and basic algebra. He was very patient and explained each problem with me. Great session.
Choosing a tutor for my Nephew was tough remotely, but i knew immediately speaking with Khondaker, his enthusiasm would be infectious. He was quick to respond, understand the importance of the situation and took charge! Thanks Khondaker!
So glad I chose this tutor, really helping my son with advanced calculus issues! He understands the gap between what needs to be done quickly in class doesn't always help if the kids didn't "get it"!
Khondaker is very personable and very knowledgeable. He is a great teacher that teens can relate to which makes all the difference. We will continue to use Khondaker for my daughter's geometry tutoring. Would highly recommend.
Mr. Khondaker, was very kind and had a lot of patience. He really takes the time to make sure u inherit the material being learned. His motivation and intentions for u to learn and try's to make it as simple for u to learn
My daughter had a wonderful tutoring session with Khondaker. I read many tutor's self-descriptions before I chose Khondaker. He accurately captured his love of mathematics and his understanding that it's not a subject that comes easily to most of us. My daughter often struggles with math but has a real desire to learn and understand. She enthusiastically met with Khondaker and showed him what she is working on in school. Khondaker helped her 'think through' the math and used positive reinforcement to build her confidence. After Khondaker left, she practiced more math without encouragement from me. She is excited about understanding math rather than simply 'going through the motions' or 'plugging in' numbers without understanding why those equations work. Thanks to Khondaker for his help and patience.
Khondaker is an excellent tutor! He was very accommodating, and was able to see me within a day of contacting him. He helped me review for my Calc 1 final and was very knowledgeable on the material. He was very patient, and was willing to stay until I understood everything for my test. Highly recommend!!
Khondaker really knows how to simplify difficult material. He was able to help me understand how to do differential equations which the book wasn't helping much with. I recommend him highly for this and probably any math subject. Has a lot of enthusiasm and that helps too!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been providing lessons in Algebra 1 since the end of March and Algebra 1 is the genesis of all math. I took College Algebra when I was in college and have voluntarily tutored people in that subject. In WyzAnt, I tutored two people for Algebra.
Algebra 2 is one the subjects that I'm extremely strong in teaching!
I'm highly qualified for this subject is because took two differential equation classes: Partial Differential Equations 1 and Ordinary Differential Equations 1. One is basic level and the other one is advanced level which involves analysis. During my enrollment, I helped other people in my class to study and understand the subject more thoroughly. I'm extremely confident, based on those statements, that students will have a great time learning this subject.
I became a tutor for Wyzant in October 2015 and ever since January 2016, I've been providing tutoring services in elementary math to 4 different people who is looking for extra help for their children's class in math. I've had experience with primary school math.
I took this course also in college which was titled Linear Algebra and I successfully completed this course with a B+. I'm highly specialized in this subject because it interests me the most. I also helped out my peers who were enrolled in this course with me.
