Outstanding Knowledgeable teacherLogan, 2 lessons with LukeI have been working on some very difficult classes with Luke, those being Dynamics and Mechanics of materials for a very good engineering school and Luke has been able to help me break down the problems with ease. I'm Luke! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. By the end of my first year of college, I could tell I had a natural passion and desire to help my peers learn, understand, and know the material our class was covering. Knowing the person was not a condition to tutor them in my eyes; everyone has been to that point of wanting to know something but just not quite able to bridge the gap. I absolutely love mathematics. If you look into math long enough, you will begin to notice so many hidden patterns and connections that you never thought could exist. I will do my best to turn some of the scary looking problems into much more doable and easier to handle problems.
Aside from bachelor's study, I was always intrigued by how the mechanical world worked. I still have not stopped this fascination and would be more than willing to share what I have learned over the past four years in much easier ways to understand than how a lot of my college professors taught me.
When I found the MATLAB programming language in college, I was so excited to see what seem like the melding of many prior coding languages put together, and then some! The power that is in MATLAB coding is amazing! It can look crazy as first, but overtime, you can begin to boil down what each variable, command, and so on is for and what it is all leading to.
Like I said prior, my drive is to see you succeed and thrive. I'm open to feedback on how I can deliver lessons better or what other resources I could be using to my and my tutee's advantage. I am easy-going and will give you my undivided attention. Feel free to contact me anytime to schedule a lesson or have further questions about me!

Exceptional Dynamic Systems Tutor: Luke Goes Above and Beyond
Luke was an absolutely fantastic tutor whom I met with over the course of several weeks. I can confidently say that he cares about his students' success. Luke’s knowledge of the subject matter is strong, and his ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner is truly impressive. He took the time to get to know my individual learning style, and tailored his approach to ensure that I was able to fully understand each topic we covered. Luke was patient and encouraging, always making me feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed. What I appreciated most about Luke was his passion for the subject matter. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it made me excited to learn and explore the topic of dynamic systems. The range of topics covered in our sessions included modeling dynamic systems using the transfer function approach, modeling dynamic systems using the state space approach, time domain analysis of dynamic systems, and frequency domain analysis of dynamic systems. I cannot recommend Luke enough. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated teacher who will go the extra mile to help you succeed, then look no further than this incredible individual.James, 11 lessons with Luke
Knowledge and creative tutor
Has been very helpful with homework and studying. Doesn't just do the work for you but actually helps you through the process. Usually finds a simpler way to explain if you don't understand a problem which has helped me better grasp the topics we have worked on together.Luca, 14 lessons with Luke
Very Knowledgeable and Pleasant to work with!
I am currently enrolled in second-semester college physics, and Luke helps me with homework problems. He almost always immediately knows how to solve any question that we come across, and he's shown me many helpful tips and tricks that I've been able to apply in class. He wants to make sure that I'm understanding the material as we work through it, and he's patient if I don't get it right off the bat.Katie, 7 lessons with Luke
I’ve met with Luke probably 4 times so far and every time has gone smoother than with some other tutors on Wyzant. I am taking fairly difficult classes however luke seems to pretty much always know where to go with the problems and what formulas to use. I don’t fully know how to approach new problems on my homework so it is great that Luke does know otherwise we would get stuck like I have with other tutors. Glad I found him wish there was more availability but it is definitely understandablePatrick, 5 lessons with Luke
He teacher me about how to do some problems with physics 1 and how to learn the formulas. Actually we preview some chapter for my test . We was practicing for a test I had tooIyanla , 1 lesson with Luke
First Tutoring Session
Luke did a good job building rapport and trust during this first session. He reviewed an entire study guide was Camden as they prepared for a quiz on integrals. Camden seems to have a much better understanding of the content and seems more confident as he readies for the quiz.Dustin, 4 lessons with Luke
