Len is an excellent teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic. He also is a very caring person, and he connects with both the student and the parent.
Leonard was knowledgeable and patient, and helped my daughter learn. I think he did an excellent job. Highly recommend him!
Len tutored my son in Algebra 1 for the first semester of school, My son attends HS so Len was familiar with the current text book being used there. He even had his own copy that he brought to the lessons. With the familiarity of the book plus his own copy it made it easy for him to understand exactly what my son was studying in class.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught this subject for over 30 years at various levels with great success.
I have taught and tutored Algebra 2 for many years. One of my last student earned a 90 percent on his final exam.
The last student I tutored in geometry raised his grade from a D to a B.
Trigonometry, although challenging, is my favorite course to help students make easier to learn and succeed at.
