Hello future students! I am a 7-12 certified math teacher who first got a degree in mathematics then went back to get my certification at Millersville University.
I love math, but please do not ask me to spell or check grammer because I stink at it. However, I love to read so feel free to ask me about the books your reading. I love all kinds of algebra and geometry and have taught it to many students. I also taught summer SAT sessions where most if not all of my students scores went up 100 points.
I am easy going and try to make math enjoyable but I do expect students to try hard and do their work. Hello future students! I am a 7-12 certified math teacher who first got a degree in mathematics then went back to get my certification at Millersville University.

Stephanie was super upbeat and a great tutor. She was subbing in the same school as my daughter and met with the teacher to get on the same page for my daughter!
Got the homework ahead of time and asked what to work on with her.
With just the two lessons I see how Stefanie connects with our 13 year old. She is very engaging, presenting these concepts in an a way that is easier for our son to understand.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught an SAT class almost every summer for the last 8 years. If a student put in the time and effort their scores always improved by at least 100 points. I have many good tips on how questions are worded and how to go from 5 choices for your answer to 2 or 3.
I am a certified teacher and have gotten many students organized to better utilize their time. I have always been an organized student myself and have done well with the methods that I implemented. I try to adapt to each students needs and make sure they become well organized for their future studies.
