My name is Janelle M. I recieved my bachelor's degrees from Misericordia University in the areas of Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood. I also recieved a Master's degree from King's College in their Reading Specialist program.
I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I've worked at a daycare center for 15 1/2 years and ran their summer program for 12 years. I taught high school autistic support for 2 years at Milestone (now know as New Story). I am currently employed by Wyoming Valley West SD. I have taught in this district for 9 years (4 years middle school emotional support, 2 years 7th grade learning support, and 3 years kindergarten). I also tutored 3 children (grade range 2nd-5th grade) for 2 years in the areas of reading and math. I enjoy what I do and create games and activities to make learning fun and I focus on the areas where the child is struggling.
I am a certified teacher with many years of teaching experience. I enjoy creating games and hands on activities to help children visualize and understand concepts and make learning fun.
