I am currently a biology major at my university on a pre-med track, with an early acceptance to medical school. I am also in my university's honors program, which is similar to what I did with the national honors society at my high school. I absolutely love helping others with biology and grasping the most important concepts about it to succeed. The same goes for chemistry and math, as I was on the advanced math track from fifth grade through high school, and I took many upper level chemistry courses, so I know a lot about these materials and can't express in words how much I love helping and tutoring others in these areas!

I have also taken several honors and AP English classes in high school and I excelled in all of them. I also recently completed a first year writing course at my university and passed with flying colors. I love helping others improve their English and writing!

I have the most experience with coaching tennis to children and adults, with a total of 4 years and ongoing! I am an assistant volunteer coach for my past high school and I am a private tennis coach as well. I played on my varsity high school tennis team throughout all 4 years of high school and I finished as the number one girl on the team ladder (1st singles).

I am a very easy-going tutor and I love helping others in any way I can. I also LOVE working with kids and students of all ages. I am a hard worker, and I can assure you in our lesson we will accomplish a lot, but I am also a very sociable person and can guarantee we will have fun along the way. Please reach out to me at any time if you are in need of tutoring, as I would love to help you!!

Public Speaking

During my senior year of high school, I had to go through an audition process and was selected along with six others to speak at my high school graduation ceremony, where I successfully developed a lengthy speech and delivered it in front of my graduating class and their parents. I also have over 10 years of experience with public speaking at my church, where I have read the readings for mass and presented them in front of the parishioners. In addition, over the course of 5 years, I have spoken with my mother at a type one diabetic nonprofit organization in front of several volunteers and leaders.

During my time in primary and secondary schooling, I was placed in the advanced math group in my class (based on a certain high grade requirement and test scores), in which my group and I were always a year ahead in the math classes offered at my district. With this, I was able to learn concepts much quicker than my peers and was able to excel in math, especially elementary level math, during my time at school. I am able to quickly solve problems of this age group and efficiently relate and teach them to my students.

Learning made Fun

My tutor was Ashley P. from Irwin, PA. From the first contact, Ashley was responsive and attentive to my requests and needs for my daughter whom I observed struggled with math. We outlined how the tutoring process worked and I can say I left the conversion at ease and excited for the great things I knew they'd accomplish together. The first session was today but I anticipate the journey continuing to be enlightening and encouraging throughout the way. Thank you Wyzant for connecting Me with the best!!!

Great tutor and even a better person. Highly recommend.

We were so fortunate to come across Ashley bio in looking for Chemistry tutor for our daughter. Aside from knowing the material with no problems, she was just an overall great person to help our daughter. She not only earned our business but a friend as well. Best money ever spent! Thanks Ashley

Very Knowledgeable

Ashley helped my kids with math. They enjoyed the session very much. She is knowledgeable and very patient. The session was very interactive and my kids weren’t nervous in the class. We have scheduled more sessions with her.

5 stars!

If you're needing help with Chemistry I/ II, I HIGHLY recommend Ashley! She is very knowledgeable and patient. So far I've had two lessons with her and I plan to keep using her for as long as I can. She breaks everything down to where you can understand the concept. She is willing to work with your schedule as well. She is understanding and funny. Every time we do a session, it just passes in a blink of an eye. If you're wondering who you should pick for a tutor, don't wait and take her. You won't regret it, I promise!
