We study human anatomy, body structures and functions, direct patient care, recognizing different diseases that afflict many people, and we touch on emergency care as well.
I have been in patient care since 1996 and love my job. I'd like to help foster the future generation coming into health care.
I have 20 years experience in direct patient care. I have 5 years teaching anatomy in a health occupations class.
Aside from nursing, reading and writing are other passions I have. I am extremely confident in my public speaking skills as in order to be a successful instructor one must be able to speak publicly.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been a CPR/First aid instructor for the past 15 years. I have also been a substitute teacher for the past 5 years in a health occupations class. I have delivered speeches both professionally and personally. I also competed in an extemporaneous speaking competition in high school and won first place out of 60 competitors.
I have taken advanced English composition in college. I have worked mainly with high school students but I am the mother of a 17 year old and 13 year old so I am still up to speed on what is expected.
