I always believed that a great student would make a great teacher. As the student understands both the perspective of themselves and the teacher. I am a very active student in class as I ask good questions.
As a result I know what kind of questions to ask my student. Good questions are the key to an in-depth understanding of anything and I believe I have developed a great ability to ask the right question.
I have a good understanding of the fundamentals of algebra. Because when I first started college I had terrible math skills. As a result I had to start with college algebra. Throughout the journey I got a great understanding of the fundamentals of algebra which most of math leans on. Currently I am studying Calculus I and am doing very well in that class. I believe I have a lot of advice and direction to offer my students.
I have taken 3 courses in Java and have a firm grasp of its fundamentals. I have taken one course in Microsoft Office and one in Excel Programming, as a result I have a firm grasp of Word, PowerPoint but especially Excel.
I am a very patient person. I don't care how much you struggle with math or computer science. No matter what level you are at. I will meet you there and help you succeed. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
