I entered the teaching field from a desire to pass knowledge to students so that they may learn more about the world around them. This knowledge assists them in helping their fellow man and, in return, helping themselves. I firmly believe that attaining knowledge is not "power" but empowerment and with that empowerment, students can make the most epic changes in their lives! By empowering students and helping them find their voice, they know in their hearts that they possess the knowledge and skills to achieve their dreams/goals.
Passing on knowledge to help others live their best lives ever has been a lifelong mission. I believe that I, in turn, can learn from every student as well due to the unique perspectives they possess on various topic. I want students to know that I am here for them and am wholly dedicated to ensuring their success.
I believe that with perseverance, any student can learn. I refuse to ever ‘throw in the towel” when it gets rough. Our tutoring sessions will be the safe space that a student needs to not only make mistakes but learn from those missteps as well. Learning becomes messy, frustrating, and satisfying all at once.
If you or your parents have any suggestions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time with any question and/or to schedule a lesson. Thank you in advance and I look forward to working with you in the future.
