Saint Joseph's University (English)
I am a former professional tennis player from Philadelphia, PA. I am a 24 year old Philadelphia native, however, I have spent a lot of time traveling the world and playing tennis.
I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University (a D1 school in Philadelphia) in 2013 and played #1 on the tennis team through out all four years. While competing for my university, I was also able to play professional tennis events across the globe. My highest ranking on the ITF circuit was 750 and a doubles ranking of 700. Two years ago, however, I retired my professional career and have been coaching ever since at a private court in the Philadelphia region.
Even though I have recently retired, I still love the sport and love coaching all levels! I have had many years of experience in competing in junior tennis as well as in the collegiate and pro level. As of right now, I coach with a lot of top players in the Middle States section as well as younger kids and adults. Although I have competed most of my life, I know what it takes to be a top athlete and how to pursue the proper teachings onto others in order to reach competitive and personal tennis goals. My strategies and qualifications would certainly help make your tennis a lot stronger as you will learn more about the game and get inspired to play even more.
Since I recently retired from the pro tour, I still have the ability to play against and be more involved with my clients rather than stand on the sidelines and watch. I am young, very energetic, and enthusiastic about teaching the sport onto others for it has been a part of my life for a very long time.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I led Harriton high school to four straight singles district championships, going undefeated all four years. Earned team MVP honors as a senior and placed second incisive ally in the PIAA AA girls' singles championship. I not only played in high school but I also played in all junior USTA middle states (and national) events. Was rated the top prospect in Pennsylvania and 142nd in the nation.
In my collegiate years, I played division 1 tennis at Saint Joseph's university in the A10 conference. I played #1 singles and doubles all through out my 4 years attending. I earned the Atlantic 10 all-conference honors three times and held the career record for singles wins at #1 singles.
Through out my college career and after, I played on the ITF and WTA circuit. My highest singles ranking was 750 in the world and doubles ranking was 700. Due to the international events, I was exposed to a variety of different types of players and learned different types of strategies and match play.
After retiring two years ago, I became the girls' coach at Arch Bishop John Caroll and the La Salle University assistant tennis coach. Since my retirement, I also have been privately coaching players of all levels in the main line area.
