STATA

I am currently a graduate student in Political Science and have extensive experience using Stata to analyze large datasets. In addition to my formal coursework in statistics and research methodology, I have used Stata to study topics ranging from political polarization to the effects of selective media exposure on public opinion. I have worked with data from multiple sources, including original survey data and data from the American National Election Studies (ANES). I also used Stata to conduct research for my Master's thesis, which draws on original survey data to study Americans' beliefs about climate change and support for the introduction of a carbon tax. I also have teaching experience from my time at the University of British Columbia and would be glad to help you with any aspect of your research project.

STATA Guru

Tim was very knowledgeable and helped walk me through the beginning phases of my research project using STATA. He helped me better understand my dataset and how to handle it in a constructive way. After spending countless hours on my own trying to get going I turned to Tim. In under an hour he had me straightened out and we created a plan of attack going forward. If you have STATA problems--message this guy.

Professional, organized, and an excellent communicator

Tim is teaching me both specific GRE problem solving and writing strategies for quantitative and verbal, as well as strategic approaches to the test that were successful for himself and others who want to score in the highest percentile possible. I wish I had tutored with Tim before taking my first, baseline GRE. I would have been way ahead of the game.
