Hello Students and Families! My name is Donna Marie and the first thing you MUST know about me is; if I become your tutor then I can promise you that "LEARNING WITH ME IS FUN." I believe that in order to learn something you must have an interest in it, and the more you are interested the more you will enjoy something, and THAT is up to the teacher :)
I am presently a 3rd/4th grade Co Teacher at Easton Area School District. I have fourteen years of experience working with children of all ages; as well as mental disabilities and behavior issues, in school related facilities, and also office and managerial work. My titles in education have been Substitute Teacher, Paraprofessional, 7th grade Co Teacher of Language Arts, Group Supervisor, Psychology Tutor, Child & Youth Program Assistant, Toddler Teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher, Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and Lead Aftercare Teacher.
I hold a degree in Education and a minor in Child Psychology. I specialize in language arts and working with children-adults with behavioral and emotional issues and disabilities.
I have shown leadership and organizational skills in my past teaching and job experiences. In all my positions I was reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and a team player who showed flexibility in the workplace. I am confident that I can fulfill this position if given an opportunity to prove myself. I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I am willing to learn and gain new knowledge that will help me achieve great success always. I am looking forward to hearing back from you and helping make your life much easier!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
