I graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University in 2020. I majored in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and had a double minor of math and psychology. I started math tutoring in 2015 as part of a peers helping peers group at my college. I helped high school students as well as students in our local community college. From there, I began working at the student center as a tutor in various lower level math courses and regular as well as advanced biology courses.

I am incredibly passionate about helping others. As someone who was diagnosed with a vision processing disorder later in life, I know what it's like to struggle and to have to work harder than your classmates. Because of this, I spent a lot of my time researching the most beneficial ways to learn information that weren't just reading a textbook and trying to memorize it all. These methods include the use of mnemonics, spaced repetition flashcards, and self-made practice tests. This is what sets me apart from other tutors and will benefit you. I will spend time coming up with a study plan that works for you and not just spend all the time going over the information in a format that is not working for you.
I hope that you choose me to become your tutor so that I can show you what you are really capable of!
