About Tim

Bio

I am currently a full-time instructor in the Rutgers system. I began my career by teaching high school history (both US and world) for three years before moving on to graduate study. During my time at Rutgers, I've taught a wide range of classes relating to political science. I also spent two years working as an instructor in the Rutgers First Year Writing Program, the sole prerequisite for every Rutgers undergraduate.

Due to my experience teaching in both the high school and college setting, I have a good understanding of what it takes for students to succeed in college--and of the various challenges they face in the transition from the high school to the university setting.

If I can be of assistance, please let me know.
