I'm easy going, kind, humorous, and patient with students. I like to give examples of basic principles and stimulate the imagination of students.
I have a BA in Psychology from Temple Univ. (1970). i received an MS in Psychology from Villanova Univ with a research fellowship in (1972). My PhD in Neuroscience/ Psychology was awarded in (1976). I had a research fellowship to cover tuition and expenses. From 1976 to 1978, I had a research fellowship from the Department of Child Health and Human Development during my Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Tulane University. I then moved to Baltimore where i stayed for 3 years working at Baltimore City Hospitlal on GI and bladder control with biofeedback. I also worked as a research associate at Johns Hopkins doing research on "Failure to Thrive Syndrome" in infants. In addition, I worked part-time for JoAnne Lancaster in private practice. My teaching experience was obtained at Essex Community College in Essex, MD. I then moved to PA where I took a job at White Haven Center,developing behavior plans for cognitively impaired individuals. I moved on to Selinsgrove Center and then to Laurelton Center doing similar work. In 1989, I got a job as Psychologist Manager at Danville State Hospital where I worked until 2009. I was in charge of the the sexual offenders program and instructed interns and other psychologists in Clinical Psychology. I received a PA license to practice Clinical Psychology in 1984. During my retirement, I have been working in Nursing Homes delivering Psychological Services to the residents. I also worked in Private Practice for several years until my triplets came along. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam.
