Hello All!!!

Let's start off by getting to know me. My name is Michael and I love photography.

In 2009, I graduated from Albright College in Reading, PA with a dual degree in History and Art with a minor in Photography. While at Albright, I was twice selected into the Albright College's Student juried srt dhow. I also had work published in the AGON magazine publication and "The Albrightian" student newspaper. As part of my coursework, I learned to produce work in the traditional dark room and digitally.

After graduating from Albright, I enrolled into Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication for my Master's in Photography. I chose to concentrate in commercial/studio photography while also shooting all sports for Syracuse. Photography coursework included studio, multimedia, and fashion. Some related classwork that I took was design, web design, and communication law which geared towards photography. Again, I participated in the student newspaper "The Daily Orange." After my year at Syracuse, I was published in the national magazine "Tricycle: A Buddhist Review" and online magazine "The Ultimate Athlete: College Edition." I have also shot for several other clients ranging from singers to maternity to wedding. Needless to say I have tons of experience in my young life and I want to share my experience with you.

What you will get out of me is a complete and utter love for photography and all the knowledge that I have gathered from my years in school and as a business owner. I will tailor your program to what you want to get out of it. All students will learn the basics because without the basics, great photographs are made on luck. I want to get you to think about what the outcome of the photograph will be and then process how to go about it from within the camera. Also, you will learn how to edit photographs in Photoshop properly. I will teach you how to get your idea from your head to your wall.

If you work with me, you'll get a higher education in a one-on-one, private setting for a fraction of the cost!

Sports/Recreation

Baseball,

Baseball

I have played baseball my whole life up until high school. Having played on multiple levels, I have played different positions. The majority of my time on the field was spent playing pitcher, third, first, and left field. You don't have to be the most physically gifted to excel at the sport. Fundamentals are key and once you have fundamentals, natural ability will take your game to the next level.
Football,

Football

Having played offensive and defensive line all throughout middle and high school, I played all of the positions on the line from center to tackle to nose tackle and defensive end. Each position has special qualities needed to excel at the game. I will teach you the in's and out's of each position and within no time you will start to play better with more confidence.
Lacrosse

Lacrosse

Lacrosse is the fastest game on two feet and is quite possibly the most exciting game to watch. I started learning the game by watching my younger brother play in high school and then I formally started playing in college. I started off playing midfield and then moved to defense. Besides scoring, one of the most exhilarating feelings is shutting down your opponent. I will teach you how to play angles, communicate on the field, and how to make one of the most important plays on the field: fast breaks.

Great for photography.

Michael is very knowledgeable about photography. He presented information that was appropriate for my beginning level of photography. I would recommend him if you are trying to learn more about your camera or if you just are trying to take better pictures.

A good experience.

Michael was a great help to me, beginning with reconfirming our appointment and arriving promptly. His experience with the camera was obvious and he was quick to point out many helpful hints. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a thoughtful and friendly tutor.
