U. C. Berkeley (PhD)
I am a Yale College graduate, with a doctorate from U.C. Berkeley, and 15+ years' experience in academia. I have taught and tutored on both high school and college levels, in addition to my experience in academic administration (including Admissions). Having consistently scored in the 98-99% on aptitude tests, I know what it takes to achieve proficiency in these exams.
Teaching is my passion and my art. Students have consistently given me exemplary feedback on my teaching and lecturing techniques, and this more than anything else gives me the greatest satisfaction. Teaching students to think critically, to improve themselves, and to test well are my strengths.
As an aside, I have also done proofreading, and am a published scholar. This also would serve to indicate, I think, my expertise in particular in reading comprehension and verbal testing. Moreover, I have taught English language and literature at a private high school.
You will receive my very best efforts in all our sessions. I will tailor any tutoring sessions to a student's particular needs, and I will not be satisfied with anything less than my best, and yours. Having said that, I am aware that patience in often required in making progress in these matters.
I take pride in the quality of my work.

Mr.Gregory helped me in writing and math (Algebra &advanced math). He helped me look at the problems/questions in a logical manner and showed me how to approach the matter at hand.
My son is enthusiastic about learning math. His grades have improved ever since he began his lessons with his tutor.
Thank you for all your help.
Very lucky to have such a reliable and thorough SAT tutor. Our daughter's preparation is coming along nicely thanks to Greg and his guidance.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
