I received an Associate Degree in Visual Communications from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Bachelor’s of Science from Point Park University, and Master’s in Art Education from Carlow University and has taught Desktop Publishing at CCAC, Art Institute Online and other technical colleges in the Pittsburgh area. I currently teach Desktop Publishing at Point Park University. I have certifications in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I can teach and help on all levels. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have 15 years experience with this program. I am also Adobe certified in this program. I currently teach it at the college level, and many other Adobe programs as well.
