CCAC (Energy Engineering)
I am currently a student pursuing his bachelors degree in Energy Engineering from either the University of California - Berkeley or the University of Washington - Seattle. I am planning to transfer for the fall semester next year!
My strengths are in science, math, and music. Particularly, the fields of Physics, any Algebra, and Guitar. I have taken 2 years of college physics and have had no difficulty with the classes at all and have received a high A in each of the classes. Learning these topics comes naturally to me. I have a strong math background from learning so much physics, so my algebra skills are sound.
I have 2 years of experience tutoring at CCAC with different college students from ages 17-40 in my physics classes and math classes, even a little in chemistry. I also have a few years of experience with middle school and high school aged children. I love tutoring because I love the feeling of being able to help another person understand something and get enjoyment out of it. It is great to help people learn especially because I get to improve my skills at the same time. I really enjoy sharing my fascination with these subjects with others, especially those who need help.
I received outstanding grades in all subjects: Physics, astronomy, chemistry, and geology. I have a great understanding of all subjects included in the science ACT. I took honors physics last year and received a 97% in the class and so could you! I have a great passion for physics and it is definitely my best subject, which helps me to communicate it easily to others!
I taught myself how to play guitar by ear when I was 14. Now, I have been playing for 9 years and there really isn't much else in the world that I love more than good music. I can hear a song and play it back to you, and I can also read tablature and sheet music! I'm willing to teach any song that you are willing to learn, no matter what style or genre it is.
I would love to hear from all of you and help you as much as I possibly can! I am available most nights throughout the week and sometimes even throughout the day, so just message me and we can work out a time and date for us to hit the books and get those grades up. I taught myself how to play guitar at age 14 by ear, and since have learned how to read tablature and sheet music. I took jazz band in high school and which I played guitar. I can listen to a song and dissect the notes just from listening to be able to play it back to you and teach you how to play it and the correct form of doing so. I have spent countless hours learning different songs on guitar, at least 300+.
