My name is Hannah and I absolutely love teaching. I graduated from Clarion University in 2015 and I have a degree in elementary and special education. I am married to my wonderful husband Jeremiah and we have a little dog named Bandit. I am subbing at the moment, and I would absolutely love to help your child succeed! My belief is that every child can learn. It may take looking at something a little differently, for we all do not learn the same way. It is our job as teachers to see what works for your child. I struggled when I was young understanding different subjects. It was because of the willingness of devoted teachers who really looked for ways to help teach me that made a difference in my life. I am now hoping to be that teacher who can make a difference in your child's life.
During student teaching, the main subject I taught was math to third grade. I fell in love with the subject and enjoyed the experience of trying different methods to help the students learn. If something was not working, I would change it. My teaching style is student driven. I go where their needs need to be met.
Grammar is a part of every student's life and has also been a part of mine all through my schooling experience. I took many classes devoted to reading, writing, and grammar. I also taught grammar to kindergarten and third grade students. I feel that I have the necessary qualifications to teach grammar to young students.
I am certified as an elementary school teacher as well as an elementary special educator. I have taught all subjects including math, writing, science, social studies, and reading. I have also taught in the life skills and learning support classroom.
I encourage you to contact me so that I can help your child live up to their full potential! My name is Hannah and I absolutely love teaching. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
