Carol is an excellent tutor! My son has shown improvement after two lessons. Carol is very patient, courteous, and adaptive to my son's needs.
My daughter's first lesson with Carol was great. She knew right away what my daughter's strengths and weaknesses were regarding reading. She is a shy girl, but Carol was able to make her feel comfortable and willing to learn. My daughter can't wait for her next lesson which is this coming Saturday. I couldn't be happier. Thank you WyzAnt! Thank you Carol!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
