I have taught middle school math for over 12 years to students with special needs, as well as students in the regular education program. No two students learn in the same manner or at the same pace. I am very patient and continually change teaching methods to best meet my students' needs. I am very dedicated to my profession and thoroughly enjoy working with children. I believe in challenging a student to his/her fullest potential -- without causing unjust frustration. Every student can be successful --- we, as educators, need to find the right learning style/method(s) to allow the student to experience success. I live in the Easton/Bethlehem area and am available to help your child either during the day or early evening. I raised my son, as a single parent, to be very successful both in extra-curricular and in this academic career -- he is now a very successful professional. I am very reliable, responsible and dependable. I understand schedules need to be flexible due to our busy lifestyles - with work and our children's activities. I can accommodate to your needs and simply ask for a four-hour cancellation notice if an emergency or situation arises and plans need to be changed.

Ann Marie has been working with my son, as an instructor, since September and I would highly recommend her as both a tutor and a teacher. My son enjoys working with Ann Marie and actually enjoys doing Algebra. She is patient, thorough, positive, and keeps the curriculum fun. My son is learning the subject thanks to Ann Marie. It is very apparent that Ann Marie enjoys teaching. If you are looking for a teacher that will help your child succeed, then look no further. On an additional note, with everyone having a busy schedule, you can always rely on Ann Marie to show up on time without any cancellations, something very important to us.
Ann Marie has helped my son bring up his grade in Algebra. She is patient and explains it in a way that he understands.
I am very pleased with her and my daughter has been getting 100 in math since Ann Marie has been tutoring my daughter.
When learning concepts in anything, including math, understanding why you're doing the process is just as important as what the process is. Ann marie did an excellent job of breaking things down for my daughter in a way that she could understand and then assessed her understanding. This was only her first visit with us, and I can already see my daughters confidence level improve.
Anne Marie is helping my 4th grader with Math who has just declared his love for learning due to Anne Marie's wonderful teaching style and patience. Anne Marie is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her.
I have only met with Ann Marie once for an hour so far but she is very nice and seems very knowledgeable and I believe she and I will work well together and I will benefit from her tutoring.
Ann Marie seems to have established a connection with my son in a manner no other teacher has attempted in the past. She genuinely cares and this is very apparent in her approach. She is patient and encourages my son to always try his best.
Ann Marie has been an incredible tutor! She has taught me so much in such a short period of time. I am looking forward to my future now more then ever because of how much I have learned from Ann Marie!
Our 5th grade son has been struggling with Math for several years. He is finally grasping concepts and remembering the steps necessary to finish problems. Ann Marie has been a wonderful source of guidance for him, and has helped me with ideas for continuing his learning throughout the week. She's patient and very in-tune with our son's needs.
Ann Marie is an EFFECTIVE tutor. My 5th grader was a bit lost with fractions, mixed numbers and measurements when I hired Ann Marie. After only 9 lessons, my daughter received 100% on a math test! Her confidence in math is returning quickly. Ann Marie is easy to reach, flexible, utterly patient, with an effective amount of challenge that draws my child in and engages her. She is relaxed, prepared, comes with tools to move things to the next level, and adapts her sessions to my daughter's specific 5th grade curriculum. She is a find, indeed.
Ann Marie is very patient and knowledgeable when it comes to tutoring, especially children with learning disabilities. My son looks forward to his tutoring sessions and is less frustrated with his school work since starting with Ann Marie. I would highly recommend her services for tutoring.
My daughter loves her. She is always excited knowing that her tutor is coming. She is more confident about her work. Thank you so much. She gets 5 stars from my daughter and I.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
