I am a CPA, with an MBA with over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. I have worked in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania. I started as a staff accountant working in Accounts Receivable, and worked my way up in various industries into the roll of Controller. I have experience teaching people with mild learning disabilities or just confused with the complexities of accounting.
I have learned how to apply QuickBooks, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook as tools to prepare reports for corporate presidents and Board of Directors. I have ability to view and teach a subject form different learning angles, if one way is too confusing, I can break it down into an easier or more understanding format.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
