I have a well-rounded background rooted in language skills, policy and government, and service. I would love to return to teaching and teaching Spanish. In two to three years I would like to enroll in a doctorate program to study international relations within the space sector, but in the meantime I would like to continue teaching, traveling, and developing my language skills.
With my undergraduate work I was involved in developing programs and panels for various clubs, classes, and departments. For these panels I brought in speakers, created advertising, and did various write ups for department records, the school newspaper, and others blogs. I completed my Master's in International Education through the Universidad de Alcalá in 2015, through the Instituto Franklin´s Teach and Learn program. In this program I developed my own classes based on the school’s curriculum and ran my own classroom. I have recently returned from working in Shenzhen, China where I had been invited to privately tutor. I am continuing to develop my language skills by improving Portuguese, Italian, Serbo-Croatian, and Mandarin Chinese.
I always have fun teaching and working the kids. I found that my energy level matched theirs at any level and I was able to entertain them while meeting our daily teaching objectives. I would be very excited to begin work immediately. I believe that I would be a good asset to this program and be dedicated to the work. I know that my experience abroad and the work I did at Slippery Rock University and the Universidad de Alcalá have helped me develop skills that would be useful in this position.
I have taught English abroad and at home for the past few years. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and cultures to help them reach their goals in English.

Patrick skillfully delivers the academics and the results are always positive. My son's confidence in knowing the lessons has been successful in the classroom. When the tutoring sessions are over my son wears a smile these days rather than a frown. I will definitely continue to avail my son of Patrick's services.
Thank you so much! I really have enjoyed working with your son and your family. It has been a great experience for me too.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Throughout middle school, high school, and college I was enrolled in private art classes with professional comic book artists. Drawing and painting are personal passions of mine and I love sharing them with others. I continue to improve my own skills through classes and my own work. I have taught some beginner art classes for drawing and general studio art.
