Howdy! My name is Cameron and I am a Graduate Student at Virginia Tech. While I'm researching wireless technologies in the Electrical Engineering department, I'd love to connect with other students like you and provide my knowledge in Math and Programming.

I earned my BS in Computer Engineering at Penn State Behrend where my curriculum was a hybrid between traditional Electrical Engineering and Computer Science programs. Further, I entered college with Math credits already under my belt....

I earned my BS in Computer Engineering at Penn State Behrend where my curriculum was a hybrid between traditional Electrical Engineering and Computer Science programs. Further, I entered college with Math credits already under my belt. I took AP Calculus BC in high school while allowed me to skip Calculus and jump right into Differential Equations my Freshman year.

My hobbies include playing with my Raspberry Pi, playing bass guitar, and sharing programming knowledge with others!

I look forward to meeting you!

I began programming in high school with C++. I also took AP Java senior year of high school which was a year-long Java course with a concentration in Object Orientated Programming. Entering college, C++ and Java were reinforced, and C was introduced for programming Microcontrollers. I have also taken an FPGA class and am familiar with VHDL and Verilog. I have TA'd a MATLAB for Engineering class in college along with a C++ course. I currently use Python for research and have familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS.

The biggest takeaway isn't just familiarity with the syntax for all these classes... It's the deeper understanding of the underlying concepts, and these concepts I am comfortable teaching.

I'm happy to communicate and answer any questions you may have. I'm eager to help others and would love to meet you!

C++

Beginning in high school, I learned programming with C++ as my first language. Basic programming paradigms and data structures were introduced in my experience in high school. At Penn State, I took more C++ classes where I excelled in all assignments. In graduate school, I utilized C++ to implement FreeRTOS real time operating system on an Arduino. My familiarity with C++ is adequate to help university students or high school students with their studies!
Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering

I have earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Penn State Behrend. Curriculum included digital logic, digital design, embedded systems (C for PIC microcontrollers), FPGA design (VHDL with Xilinx Artix-based dev board), Java with concentration in Object Oriented design, Assembly language (MIPS architecture), Communications with understanding of Internet protocol stack, and Very-Large-Scale-Integration design with use of MAGIC layout software.

Water Polo

Water Polo

I have been playing water polo for at least 13 years now. I played in high school and won PA states twice with North Allegheny, and I played at Penn State Behrend where I competed with top teams like Stanford, Cal, USC, UCLA, and other D1 teams. I was the team captain for Behrend my senior year. I've been exposed to many different coaching styles and I'm familiar with many techniques and drills used by top talents.
