Hi, I am John and I am a professional mathematician, who has a passion for teaching young minds how to think and solve problems like a mathematician. Hi, I am John and I am a professional mathematician, who has a passion for teaching young minds how to think and solve problems like a mathematician. My first professional experiences came in 1987 when I asked to write computer programs for a number of professors at Georgia Tech. At the time I was working on my PhD. At GA Tech, I was researching and writing papers in fractal geometries, chaos theory and mathematical physics.

In 1989, I left my doctoral program to do defense contracting for the US Military Sealift Command, Joint Transportation Command, and the Defense Nuclear Agency in supercomputing, schedule optimization and nuclear cloud modeling. My models and software were a major factor in the resupply efforts during the First Gulf War. From 1991 to 1995 I consulted as a principle researcher to DARPA, CDC, and other government agencies. In 1996 I joined Delta Air Lines and started my international career in pricing analytics, revenue management and travel / logistics analytics. I have been a Head of Operations Research, Principle Scientist or Chief Scientist at Delta, Qatar Airways, Brussels Airlines, the Polish National Railroad (PKP Intercity), and most recently JSB Ukrainian National Railroad. During my travels I have trained 5 different teams of young analysts and data scientists. I recently returned to the USA and seek to pass on the art of mathematics to students in the USA as I have across the Middle East, Belgium, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

As a teacher / tutor, I will seek to pass on to you the how and the why of mathematics and science. I have a unique ability to breakdown the hardest subjects into a series of easy to grasp steps. Mathematics, whether it is high school algebra, geometry and precalculus, college calculus, differential equations or statistics, is a very approachable and enjoyable series of discoveries. My approach is to find each student's way of learning, foster it and present the material with accelerated learning techniques way that conform to how you enjoy discoveri
