Hi there! I'm here to make English, History, and Government courses accessible to any and all learners. I want to help you gain a deeper understanding of the topic at hand, but I also want to help you enjoy it. I think our best learning happens when we find value in what we study. Hi there! I'm here to make English, History, and Government courses accessible to any and all learners. I want to help you gain a deeper understanding of the topic at hand, but I also want to help you enjoy it. I think our best learning happens when we find value in what we study. My preference is to include a focus on teaching you the skills you need to succeed in future academic pursuits, not just the current one. My lesson plans, in addition to directly focusing on the topic at hand, include suggested study patterns, writing advice, and other methods to make you a better learner.

I make for a fantastic reading and writing tutor for any age learner. Graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Philosophy means that I have years of experience picking apart dense prose for meaning, and my writing has become clear and concise. These are skills that I'm more than able to pass on to anyone.

My degree also focused on law and a history of ethics. These two focuses have provided me with a unique lens with which to view world history. History for a lot of students feels like a generally meaningless list of dates and battles - with me, you can connect those numbers to historical movements and pressures. History classes move from rote memorization to a real education - something you'll simultaneously find easier and more engaging.

If you struggle with writing clearly or pulling meaning from difficult text, I'm the ideal tutor for you. In addition to my qualifications, you will find me calm and reassuring. I know how scary learning can be, so I want you to have as comfortable a time as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you!
