Through twenty years of document design and storytelling experience, I have developed a singular philosophy: to be an excellent designer, one must persuasively communicate technical ideas to the professional and the layperson alike. I am obsessed with the translation of complex concepts into concise, focused, intuitively understood stories.
As a marketing, document, and urban design professional, I've used InDesign to create books, proposals, reports, brochures, posters, signs and much more! Over the years I've had the pleasure of introducing my coworkers, staff, and friends to this powerful tool. My favorite aspect of mentoring people in InDesign is the moment when they stop thinking about how to use the program and become wholly focused on designing. I am patient and happy to tailor my tutoring to your specific goals.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
