La Sorbonne (French)
I am a French native. I grew up in Paris and moved to the US 25 years ago. And I have been teaching French fro the last 25 years. I was a French professor's assistant at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA for over 10 years. I also held a French conversation class.
I also taught French at Inlingua school of languages for 5 years. I taught the following group of clients: a couple who wore moving to France, a delta airline flight attendant, a banker, and many others. I was also the french substitute teacher at The Lovett school in Atlanta, GA for 10 years for the entire school. During that time, I taught Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
I also worked for the Coca Cola company as a French tutor to the employees who worked at the complaint center--these employees were taking calls from Canada.
My specialty is teaching people how to speak French. And I teach people how to successfully communicate in French. I work well with both students and adults.
Being a native French speaker, I had to learn English as a second language, which gave me the opportunity to experience the process of learning a foreign language. I am very patient and teach many different levels. You may contact me to discuss your needs and schedule an appointment. I am a French native. I grew up in Paris and moved to the US 25 years ago. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
