Hello,

I am a current graduate student in Mental Health Counseling, and will have my Master's degree by December of 2017. My graduate GPA is 3.96, and my coursework maintains a social justice lens. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2015, with a degree focusing in archaeological/cultural anthropology, and psychology. I was a Dean's List recipient for multiple consecutive terms and graduated with a GPA of 3.5+. My personal specializations are in mental health counseling, grammar/writing proficiency, psychology, anthropology, sociology, English, reading, and more.

I have never received a grade on any paper below 91%, and I want to help you achieve the same accomplishment.

My goal is that you not only achieve your own goals, but gain self-confidence in doing so.

I have publicly spoken at an anthropological podium at a regional academic conference, as well as worked through numerous mental health field internships, and worked on 20+ page research papers.

If you would like to set up a time to meet, I'd love to discuss your goals, and how I could help you in achieving these.

History

Anthropology,

Anthropology

I just recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Southern Oregon University. At my university, our anthropology skills were tested not only in academic environments, but through physical and social environments as well. We were taught how to perform primary research, conduct social experiments, and simply conduct participant observation with the intention of making ethnographic observations. I was also taught to work in multiple fields of anthropology including primarily: cultural, archaeological, and linguistic.
Sociology

Sociology

While working on a degree with a social science background, I took as many diverse classes as possible. Many of these classes were within the sociology cohort, with the premise of further understanding the social constructs which we regularly operate and live under. The purpose of these sociology courses helped me to become a more self aware and critical individual. Sociological concepts were even wrapped up into my degree program of anthropology, where we used the construct of social spheres as places to understand humans in context.

Archaeology,

Archaeology

While studying anthropology in my undergraduate anthropology program, I focused primarily on archaeology. I studied under a local archaeologist who ran an archaeology lab out of the school. I worked in this lab multiple times, and even went on archaeological digs with the school. I was taught how to physically, legally, and in reality understand and practice archaeology in the public realm.
