About Roberto

I have a passion for people development and learning. A technical aspect of this spans math and science. With more than 20 years in various industries (high tech, solar, automotive, document, and chemical) and a solid academic background, I have applied many of the lessons and continue to learn. I am eager to help students and junior professionals enjoy this journey too. Now that my children are grown, I can expand my lifelong dream to teach in middle and high school.

My areas of depth include chemistry, physics, arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, and all levels of calculus. I also have expertise in statistics and am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. My approach focuses on addressing all academic requirements by supplementing the material with real-life applications. I am a firm believer that this enables the student to understand the material in more depth and apply this during exams. I make every effort possible to align well with current school teachings so that methods are either reinforced or supplemented to develop competency.

I can be flexible with logistics (time and location) so long as they meet learning needs and we can plan them in advance.

A student's feedback is important for a successful partnership. No two students are identical; hence, the approach and focus needs to be tailored to each topic, student, and timeline.
