As a world-class 3D illustrator and animator, I have worked on projects for Nikon, BMW, Nike, Freightliner, Leatherman Tools, Salesforce, Exide Batteries and Cisco Systems; to name but a few. A regular contributor to 3D Artist Magazine (published in Great Britain), their first tutorial was about "Tot Rod", one of my early illustrations. I provided tutorials for 6 issues and wrote a monthly Q&A column on Autodesk Maya for over 3 years.
I am offering tutoring in the 3D production workflow; which includes 3D modeling (both hard surface and organic), UV mapping, texturing & materials, animation, lighting (focusing on the Linear Workflow), rendering in MentalRay and compositing. I work primarily in Autodesk Maya, and use the following 3D applications as an adjunct to Maya: Mudbox, Vue Xstream, RealFlow, The Plant Factory and 3D Coat.
I also use the follow software to do compositing: Photoshop, AfterEffects and Nuke.
I offer instruction in production workflows, whether you are looking to work in a studio environment or work as a freelance generalist.
Unless you have a production workstation with the appropriate software installed, we'll be working in my studio where you'll be able to follow along on your own workstation (with dual monitors) while I provide instruction on another.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
