I have worked as a tutor with inner-city junior high and high school students through Columbia University's Double Discovery center, and have taught introductory German to undergraduates and graduate students at UC Berkeley. Both involved extensive one-on-one work with students; I was available to answer their questions, engage them in conversation and advise them on how best to improve their study skills.
