I have been teaching English all over the world for the past 12 years in classrooms, at various business locations, and using Skype. I lived and taught in France and Japan, as well as in different locations in the US, and my students have come from many countries including Brazil, Thailand, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Morocco, El Salvador and many others. I was taught the Cambridge CELTA approach, and I believe that learning languages should be fun, with the teacher providing interesting natural situations for communicating, including role playing, practical games and other activities that challenge students to express their ideas in English. I have a great deal of experience teaching business English, and have prepared students who went on to score highly on the TOEFL, TOEIC, CAE and IELTS exams. I have taught students of all ages, from preschool through adulthood, but I specialize primarily with university students and business English learners.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
