Hi! I'm Megan and am currently a candidate for a Masters in Environmental Sciences and Engineering in the Gillings School of Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am very passionate about water quality and environmental issues in general! Because of my area of study, I am well versed in biology, physics, math, and chemistry, and I love helping other students conquer their fears in these subjects! I believe there are so many opportunities in the world of STEM, and am very passionate on making that world accessible to all students. Sometimes all it takes is a different way of explaining and a different perspective. I am very excited to bring my perspective and experience in these subjects as a tutor!

I have experience with Algebra 1, Geometry, Elementary (K-6th) Math, Precalculus, and Calculus.

Work in Environmental sciences and engineering inherently involves A LOT of chemistry and some biology! I have experience and have taken classes in basic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, atmospheric chemistry and water chemistry. I also have experience with basic biology, ecology, and genetics, and am extensively involved in the science and research world.

I would love to help you conquer whatever subject has got you down! Message me if you're interested in setting up a time to chat!

Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful tutor

Megan M. was teaching me Environmental Health. I have taken multiple sessions with her. She is quite flexible with timing and planned our sessions based on my learning style and what worked best for me. She is really knowledgeable about Environmental Health and I can tell she knows a lot about chemistry too. After sessions with her I have a much greater understanding of the class material.
