Hello! Are you looking to be more informed on how our worlds societies came to be? I'm a recent college graduate who majored in History, Critical Writing, and Education. I was fascinated with these fields since elementary school and have always been interested in how people connect and teach others. I specialize in world history but am knowledgeable in American history as well. Every student is different and some don't enjoy straight from the book know-how; I don't believe that this is the best method of having History stick! I think making History fun and inviting as well as how it applies to the global stage is crucial to a student's understanding of History. As I said before, I recently graduated from OSU with majors in History, Critical Writing, and Education. I spent five years devoting myself to these subjects. I taught in San Francisco for a year with Teach For America and plan on moving to Coast Rica to teach History and English to students down south. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
