Marsha did an excellent job of tutoring my daughter - she was patient in helping her read and also teaching her math concepts. She worked on number lines and fractions , making sure those became clear to her.
First visit and both kids already learned new things. Very grateful for Marsha. Very impressive to hold my 6 year old's attention!
This was our second lesson with Marsha...and my daughter is doing really well with her! So far, we are really pleased.
Marsha has been a godsend for us. She is so patient and works diligently with my child until he understands the concepts. He has made huge improvements since working with Marsha.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
