My name is Sofiane and I live in Eugene, OR. I am working on my PhD in physics at UO. I love learning and I love teaching just as much, and I have been a tutor for over 10 years. One of the most rewarding things for me is when I'm able to convey my understanding of a complex topic to others in a simple manner. It is very fulfilling to see that understanding develop in someone else.

As a physicist, I use math in my daily life, so I have to have a deep understanding of it. But that's not to say that math comes easy for me. Having struggled with it just like everyone else, I understand just as well the difficulties that people have in math, and one of my favorite things to do is to revisit those difficulties and help others walk through them just as I have done before. I can tutor almost any math course at the undergraduate and high school level.
Just as with math, physics is part of my day job, and I am just as familiar with its difficulties. I have over a decade of experience helping both myself and others out through these difficulties. I can tutor any undergraduate physics course, and most courses at the graduate level.
I strongly believe that anyone seeking help in math and physics has the capabilities within them to develop a better understanding and a better chance of success in these topics.
