I am an experienced technology professional that enjoys helping others learn. I also help mentor individuals trying to start up their own businesses and/or have start-up questions and issues. I understand that an individual can become frustrated when they, for whatever reasons, feel like they are at an impasse and need to reach out for assistance. I'm very patient and non-judgmental because I have been there myself.
My approach in helping others is much like how I approach business situations where improvement is required. I determine the current situation and this becomes the baseline. I determine the goal (or objective) desired. The difference between the baseline and the goal becomes the gap and from this gap the requirements can be determined that will remove this gap and achieve (or exceed) the desired goals.
Depending on the project I have to utilize various levels of mathematics, business principles, and quality metrics. I advocate efficient and effective processes, which for tutoring mean no dragged-out plans; the most efficient, effective, and beneficial means to attain the goal.
I have home schooled both my son and daughter during elementary grades, now grown and on their own, with my daughter testing consistently in the top 5 percent of SAT scores and my son in the top 15 percent.
I am proficient with a variety of computer languages, operating systems, hardware, software, and various other aspects of the information technology business sector. In addition to experience I hold the following certifications: Professional in Healthcare Information Systems (CPHIMS), Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, Sarbanes Oxley Expert, Business Systems Analyst, HIPAA Security Certificate of completion.
I currently design and develop mobile applications as an independent developer and have four such apps available in the Apple and Android market place.
