I am a graduate student of mathematics at Oregon State University and have both taught classes, tutored, and have had office hours with students. I do my best to make sure that a student leaves with not just their homework completed but also with the knowledge of how we got there and how they can work through the problems on their own. The best part is when a topic clicks for the student.

For those who just need a bit of a push, I do my best to give them the confidence that they are doing it right and to have them put trust in their own work. While watching students work through problems at their own pace, I try to figure out not just what they might be doing wrong but also if there is something else underlying that they might be struggling with and try to help them understand either better approaches or how to get over the sections they find difficult. In addition, I understand that each student is different; sometimes different approaches on specific topics are needed and I have experience in finding different ways of explaining topics to students.
My qualifications are having been a teaching assistant for all of the listed classes (College Algebra, Trig/Pre-Calc, All of the Calculus series, and Differential Equations among others) and have specifically taught Differential and Integral Calculus multiple quarters. I have the knowledge in the material to teach anyone interested in getting tutored for these topics, but I only have extensive experience in tutoring students in college level courses.
Feel free to contact me for tutoring, contact is free. I am very open to either online tutoring or in-person tutoring at a neutral location such as on the OSU campus or in a public library, but I am willing to make occasional exceptions if the need arises.
