I have ten years of direct teaching experience in 3rd-8th grade. I currently work at a high school in the area working with students with behavioral and special needs. I help students with English, Math, History, Science, and testing strategies.
I have experience primarily in helping students become successful by overcoming the barriers that impaired their ability to learn. I truly enjoy working with students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
