One of the best parts about tutoring is the opportunity to meet students from all over the world. I really enjoy the time I get to spend with them one on one, working towards a goal of enrichment through learning.
I began tutoring in high school for French, English and History at my high school and continued tutoring throughout college in Italy. I worked with several children, students and adults one on one in Italy, working with them on their finesse and strength of the English language. In the past year, I have worked with students of all ages in person and online in Italian, French, English and History. I have compiled lesson plans from textbooks, literature and online media, and most of all, from real life examples. I believe language is best learned when it is applied to everyday life, treating it as the living art form that it is. I formed several friendships with individuals who I continue to correspond with to this day and it delights me to continue to be able to share in their progress and their language journey.
I enjoy the rapports I have built with my students and above all, witnessing their delight when they recognize how far they've come. Sometimes the only thing that stands in our way of mastery of a subject is a guiding hand and I hope to be this aid for my students. I hope to share my passion for subjects with students and encourage them to find their strengths and potential for the future in the learning more each day.

I have spoken French since I was a young child and attended university in Italy to perfect my Italian. I love languages and love how they are a living art form that is constantly in motion. No two languages are the same and by translating one word into another tongue, we learn more than just a word, we also learn about the culture, the values and the passion behind it. I find it fascinating that a favorite book can hold different meanings and significance in another language an rereading it can sometimes lead to a greater understanding of the author's work.
While living in Italy, I was fortunate enough to put my Italian to the test by working in a restaurant as a server and eventually interning in Italian Parliament where I worked alongside politicians, finessing their English and translating press releases and bills. I am fluent in Italian and French and am pursuing my Masters in translation. I am a published writer and hope to share with you my love for the written and spoken word in any tongue!

I adore Literature and have been writing since I was a young child. I won numerous writing awards in high school and was first published in a magazine whilst in college. While I know essay writing can be tedious for some, I encourage students to view it as a calculated journey, exploring a thought and arriving at a conclusion that synopses their thinking. Writing is truly an art form and the composition as a whole merits passion and strength!

I am an avid learner, forever seeking to widen my knowledge and grasp of the world around me everyday. I love literature, languages and history and have traveled extensively as well as lived abroad in Italy, where I attended university, and France. In Italy, I was privileged enough to intern in the Italian Parliament where I worked alongside politicians translating political correspondences and legislative documents.
