I have been an HR Professional for over 4 years. Upon graduating from UCO, I started working in HR in a healthcare setting where I focused on talent acquisition, benefits administration and retirement/pension calculations. I then moved To the HR realm of in Higher Education. This move was shortly after obtaining my MBA from Southern Nazarene University. I was a lead cohort during my MBA program and assisted my class with tutoring and was also a tutoring assistant in undergrad for Writing for Psychology. I was an academic tutor all four years in high school and I am seeking to assist students grow in all areas.
I currently teach a class every Wednesday at my employer and I have given many presentations during my educational experience. Also, as a member of HR, I am required to give numerous reports and presentations to board members, outside members and employees.
As an individual who is well educated, I have taken my share of exams. In my current position, taken acquisition at a major University, career development and college counseling are major parts of my job.
I spent countless hours enriching the lives of elementary students as an academic tutor in high school. This is something I truly valued. I also have nieces who I have assisted with their homework.
I believe educational background, teaching assistant experience, academic tutor experience and professional experience make me an ideal tutor for the subjects listed. If you have any questions about a particular subject, please feel free to contact me. I am very eager to help.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have worked in HR for over four years. During this time, my focus has been talent acquisition/recruitment. Recently, my employment changed from healthcare, to high education. This has opened my opportunities to assist others with their career development from just professionals to college students.
I have been working in HR for over 4 years in a recruiter role. Currently, I work in a university setting. This allows me to work with students, faculty, adjunct and staff employees/candidates. With student hires, I am able to assist them not only find employment on campus, but a position that is within their current degree plan and will be a resume builder.
Due to the amount of school I have personally had, I understand the importance of good study skills. My undergraduate minor in Psychology assisted me in being able to learn the different ways different individuals learn and retain information. This allowed me to try each form and find what works best for me. My knowledge and experience in this area will be beneficial to a student.
