I am currently a self-contained teacher teaching in a Spanish immersion school. I am also offering individualized or group tutoring experiences for various students and subject areas here locally, but I would love to support other students in other states or areas.
I am applying for this position because I believe that it is critical to offer students an alternative learning environment to support their learning and self-confidence. I am always looking for ways to expose myself and expand my own learning as a professional and think that it is more important than ever for struggling students to regain that self-confidence and foster a new love for learning.
