I have a degree in Mathematics Education from Washington University in St. Louis. I am currently a high school math teacher teaching Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I scored a 35 on my ACT math test seven years ago (I only took it once). I am qualified to teach the 4 classes covered by the test: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry. As a current high school teacher, I often review for the ACT with my students.

I earned a high A on my mathematical logic class at Washington University in St. Louis. Teaching this subject is teaching a way of thinking. Logic is used everyday to make intelligent decisions.
