I worked in the health care field for five years then I transitioned into the commercial side of medicine. I have expertise in anatomy, physiology, physical therapy and cardiovascular sciences. I also teach at a local university and the main subject matter is allied health care/pre-nursing.
I have extensive knowledge and I have the ability to break it down and make it applicable to my students. I am very patient and find creative ways to present subject matter so the student retains and applies the information later on.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
