I am an avid translator and interpreter in the English and Spanish languages, and have coached and tutored individuals from many walks of life for the past 30 years. I worked in Washington DC for a US Ambassador of a Spanish speaking country and have translated several books. My fulfillment is in seeing students to well in their English as a Second Language classes, as well as those from other nations wanting to learn English. Since English is not my first language, I have been able share with others my methods for grasping and applying the correct English pronunciation and enunciation needed to help them improve and reach their goals in their daily living and professional development. The same principles apply in Spanish as a Spanish language instructor.
My aim is to always leave my students with a positive outcome and, at every lesson, I make sure that previously set goals are met. This is how I keep my standards high. Because time is valuable, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required and lessons are made up as quickly and swiftly as possible. A quiet environment is important to me. For this reason, I arrange my meetings in an place conducive to learning and accessible to my clients.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from Evangel Temple School of the Bible in Washington, DC and have assisted in Bible training for many years. I served as deacon at Evangel Temple and also as a volunteer Chaplain at the JPS Network in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a born again believer and a thorough Bible student. I am available to assist with issues concerning interpretation of the Bible.
I have 15 years of management experience, which includes working in attorney recruitment and hiring and developing of office staff in various fields. I also hired and screened real estate agents for a real estate company, and have counseled in career development.
I have taught English as a second language in various settings to include the Bible Institute of a Church in Tulsa, where I currently do so. I have also tutored numerous students through our charitable groups at churches. As far as Spanish, I have prepared and instructed attorneys and engineers prior to visiting Spanish speaking countries for work related issues.
I have tutored in a one-on-one basis in the art of handwriting, helping students improve their handwriting skills.
I have been sought to use my calligraphic skills for various events, including weddings, business propaganda, and the like.
My aim is to help my students write clearly and become more proficient in their techniques.
