My name is Aaron B. and I'm currently finishing a PhD in Philosophy. I just moved to the area and I'm currently working as a substitute teacher at Cascia Hall, Holland Hall, and the Tulsa Public School system. I have 5 years of teaching experience at the university level (both as a teaching assistant and as an instructor), and I specialize in the humanities, reading comprehension, writing skills, study skills, and college essay editing. I love working one-on-one with students who are driven to learn, and I am experienced at helping students work on basic reading and writing skills all the way up to specific topics in the humanities, especially literature and philosophy.
College application season is here and I want to help you with your college essays and/or writing samples. I've edited and worked with students on an individual level for five years and I'm ready to help you take your college essay to the next level.
I am willing to negotiate on fees and I look forward to working with you! Hi,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a master's in Philosophy and I am currently finishing my dissertation for my PhD. As a student of philosophy, I have read, studied, and taught many theological and religious writings. I am familiar with religious exegesis and the basics of the Old and New Testament. I was a teaching assistant for Phil 107: Philosophy of Religion and Phil 111: Existence and Freedom (a course that dealt with many religious issues in 20th century thought).
I have a masters in Philosophy and I am currently finishing my PhD. I have been a teaching assistant and instructor of record at Binghamton University for over 5 years now in 10+ courses. I have worked with students one-on-one in office hours for years, teaching them how to study, read for comprehension, and how to annotate and mark up texts. As a PhD student writing a dissertation, I also have to exercise all of these skills on a daily basis.
